Your Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Homestay (L, D)

Pick up at our hotel at around 7.30 AM, we will drive to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta. On arrival, we will be warmly welcomed by our local guide and invited some fresh fruits before embarking on a boat to visit Cai Be Floating market and some traditional handicraft villages. Our boat will take us to the homestay in Tan Phong Island for check-in and have lunch.

In the afternoon, our local host will lead us to his orchards where we can learn how to take care of the garden and if you wish, we can try our hands in plucking the ripen fruits. We then visit his vegetable garden, do some gardening such as planting and watering the vegetable. We will also helo the host to pick some vegetable for our dinner. Back to the homestay for a shower, roll in the kitchen to help the host to prepare for dinner and finally sitting in a pleasant surrounding to enjoy the meal.

Our free evening can be: night-frog catching (weather permits) or teach English to the local children. We spend the night in the homestay.

Day 2: Mekong Homestay – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the fresh air and listen to the sound of chicken, birds and other countryside’s sound, stroll around the village and see the local farmer get busy with their morning work.

Back to our homestay and have breakfast before cycling around Tan Phong Island to visit some traditional handicraft workshops of handbags, rice papers, wooden tables, and chairs. We then back to the homestay, check out, say goodbye to our friendly host, and back on a boat to Cai Be Tourist Wharf. On arrival back to the mainland, we will find our car is waiting and drive us to Ho Chi Minh City. Tour ends.
