About Azalea Cruise
Launched on 5 November 2017, Azalea is the second cruise line that operates from Hai Phong and cruise a unique route to Halong Bay (besides Orchid cruise). It promises to be a great alternative for travelers wishing to visit Halong Bay the different way.
All cabins are spacious and come with open balcony and luxury bathroom amenities. The short travel time (just 2 hours from Hanoi and 30 minute from Hai Phong Airport) add to its other advantages.

Your Itinerary
2D1N Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Halong Bay
Morning
Pick up from your hotel around 9:30-10:00am for a 2.5 ride to Hai Phong / Dinh Vu port (transfer not included in cabin price). Have sometime to relax at our waiting lounge before boarding the cruise.
Afternoon
Upon getting on board, receive welcome drinks and safety briefing from our cruise manager. You can check in your beautiful cabin, have a quick rest before proceeding to lunch. As you enjoy the special menu, the cruise will slowly move towards Halong Bay, passing Cat Ba Island, and visit Trung Trang Cave. Arrive at Tra Bau Area where you can enjoy beach time.
Evening
Return to your boat in late afternoon to watch sunset over the Bay. Join our cooking class on board or Happy Hour at our bar. Dinner is served and evening is free time for your own activity (squid fishing, movie watching or just chilling at our common area).
Day 2: Halong – Hanoi
Morning
Early risers can enjoy the spectacular beauty of Halong Bay in the early morning and take part in Tai Chi class. After eating breakfast, tourists will be transferred by canoes to explore Frog Pond area with time for swimming/ kayaking. At 9:45am, tourists will be back on Azalea Cruise for check-out schedule. A delightful brunch will be catered 30 minutes later. Around 11:35am, the cruise returns to Dinh Vu Port, tourists disembark and say goodbye to the cruise.

Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Lan Ha Bay
Morning

We will also take you to visit the nearby islets on coracles or you can try kayaking area.

Return to your boat in late afternoon to watch sunset over the Bay. Join our cooking class on board or Happy Hour at our bar. Dinner is served and evening is free time for your own activity (squid fishing, movie watching or just chilling at our common area).
Day 2: Halong Bay exploration
Morning
Coffee, Tea and Light Pastries will be served from early morning. Wake up and enjoy the pristine beauty of the Bay or try Tai Chi session on sundeck. Transfer to day boat to visit Viet Hai fishing village where you can take cycling trip to visit the place. You will learn how life on island differ fundamentally from what you have seen in Hanoi before. Optional electric car service available (exta cost).
Afternoon
Have lunch on day boat. Later visit Bai Tu Long Bay area, with free time for kayaking around Ba Ham Lake area. Return to main cruise where you can enjoy free time for relaxation.
Evening
Luxury dinner served in restaurant. Enjoy the landscape of the Bay at night.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Morning Early risers can join our Tai Chi on sundeck and enjoy the light breakfast. Later we will continue our journey and visit Toi Sang Cave (Dark and Bright Cave). Return to cruise for check out and brunch. Bid farewell to crew and return to Hanoi.
Payment & Cancellation
Cruise Policy:
- Check in on board: 12:10pm
- Check out: 11:35am
- Return Hanoi: 2:30pm
- The FOC rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 5 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 5-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge $40/adult and $30/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on December 24th and/or December 31st 2018 and Lunar New Year Feb 4th, 2019
- Shuttle bus: $36/person (adults and children round trip). Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House
Booking Policy:
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates
- From 6 to 3 days prior to check in: 50% of total rates.
- Less than 3 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
