About Emeraude Cruise
Launched in 2003, Emeraude Cruise is the first yacht designed as a direct inspiration from the ancient cruising activity. Lying inside the establishment of Emeraude Cruise is an interesting story of its French owner, Eric Merlin who accidentally discovered the existence of a magnificent fleet of four single-wheeled paddle steamers, namely Emeraude, Perle, Saphir and Rubis, which operated in Halong and other regions of Vietnam from 1906 to 1945 from a black and white postcard he bought in France.
Unique in history, Emeraude Cruise has also made its own legend through its operation: the able hand of its captain, the luxury room and suites, the story about Halong that is told via its itinerary. A trip with Emeraude Cruise will not only spark light on the natural beauty, but also the past century of culture heritage of Vietnam.

Your Itinerary
2D1N Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Morning
Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00, then get on the car for a 3-hours trip to Halong (transfer not included in price). The trip is a great opportunity for you to sightseeing the wildlife of Vietnam with lush green forest and grandiose carbon mountains on road sides. Arrive at the harbor to check in at Emeraude Café by noon.
Afternoon
Start embarking right after welcome drink and safety instruction. While you are contemplating the breathtaking scenery of Halong, the Vietnamese and International Buffet Lunch is ready.
Heading toward the first destination of the day by 15:00, which is Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. The cave is the most beautiful and primitive cave in Halong, which possesses majestic formation of stalactites and stalagmites. The trip continues to a fishing village before coming back the cruise ship for kayaking or swimming.
Another awaiting activity is Vietnamese fresh spring roll cooking class on the sundeck at 18:00.
Evening
Take you free time for refreshment and bathing before enjoy another menu of Vietnamese and European delicacies for dinner buffet. The rest time of the night is flexible for you to either integrate in social activities like board games with friends or exotic squid fishing with our tour guide.
Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Morning
The day starts very early for the morning coffee and Taichi class on the sundeck. After that, the buffet breakfast is ready to re-charge all of your energy for another inspiring trip to Titop Beach and around the majestic Ha Long Bay. Packing up for the way back to Halong. Disembark at Emeraude Café at 10:00 for the drive back to Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Morning
Our guide pick you up at your hotel at 8:00AM and we’ll get on the van to Halong (transfer price not included in cabin fare). Take some photos of the rustic sceneries of Vietnam, your 3-hour trip would become much shorter. Arrive at Emeraude Café for check-in by noon and start embarking immediately.
Afternoon
Right after the captain raises the anchor, the cruise begins with a sumptuous Vietnamese and International Buffet Lunch while contemplating breathtaking landscape of Halong Bay. In the afternoon, there would be excursion to Sung Sot Grotto of mystic formation of stalactites and fishing village where you might see dozens of aquatic species.
Return to the main boat by 15:00 for exciting activities on the Sundeck: crepe station, Vietnamese cooking class and kayaking or swimming from the boat.
Evening
Enjoy another delighting meal with a different menu of Vietnamese and European buffet. The rest of the night is for playgroups or relax at on-board spa.
Day 2: Overnight on board
Morning
When you get up to watch the sun rises on the sea, complimentary café gourmand is ready on the Sundeck. Tai Chi class is another indispensible activity of the early morning. After enjoying energizing breakfast, transfer to fishing boat and cruise through Halong Bay to less traveled Lan Ha Bay. On the way, stop at smooth sand beaches for archways and kayaking, even more interesting to have VIP lunch on the Moody’s beach.
Afternoon
Explore the island of Moody by rock climbing trek before going back to the cruise around Lan Ha Bay and rejoin Emeraude in the late afternoon. Take time to enjoy free canapés on Sundeck and refreshment after a long energetic day.
Evening
Another delicious set of Vietnamese & European dinner buffet then enjoy the night with exotic squid fishing at night.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Morning
Get up early take the last pieces of Halong Bay before returning to Hanoi. The complimentary café gourmand and Tai Chi class are again your best friend for the early morning. Cruise back to Halong while enjoying the energizing breakfast in the dining room. Pack up your luggage and wait until the ship arrive at Halong harbor at around 9:30. Get on our van and come back to Hanoi at 10:00. Cruise ends

Cruise Policy:
- Check in: 12:15pm
- Check out: 10:30am
- Arrival in Hanoi: 16:00pm
- Free of charge for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults (No extra Mattress)
- The Child Rate for children from 4 to 7 year old: 75% Adult rate (No extra Mattress)
- Children older than 7 year old will pay full adult rate
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $45 per person applies if guests stay overnight on December 24th and/or December 31st.
- Shuttle bus: $25/adult and $25/child under 12 round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House
Booking Policy:
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates
- From 6 to 3 days prior to check in: 50% of total rates.
- Less than 3 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
