Luxury In The Bay – 5 Days

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi (D)
Welcome upon arrival by local tour guide and driver then we transfer to hotel. After a short rest, we enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour of the French-inspired “old quarter”. We will then sit down to enjoy a performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets. After the show, we will have welcome dinner with delicious Vietnamese food in a fine local restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay by Hai Au Seaplane & Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, our car will arrive to take us to Noi Bai airport to catch Hai Au aviation to Halong Bay by the flight HA 601. This magic flight takes around 1 hour from Hanoi to Halong. We then experience a flight-of-a-lifetime for around 30 minutes in Halong Bay from 1600 meters, amazed your eyes with a spectacular view of thousands of limestone standing in the emerald water and especially enjoy an epic culmination of landing directly into the bay’s water.
After an amazing flight with Hai Au Aviation, we will land off on Tuan Chau Marina Port and have a welcome drink before boarding our luxury cruise for the 2-night itinerary. Start our leisurely cruise toward Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) while five-element lunch is served onboard. After lunch, we will have a guided tour through the beautiful Sung Sot Cave with huge chambers. Back to the Au Co to join a Cooking demonstration then enjoy Happy Hour with “Buy One Get One Free”. Savour our five elements signature dinner of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The rest of the evening will be free at leisure or join our crew with squid fishing from the main deck.

Day 3: Bai Tu Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay & Cat Ba Island (B, L, D)
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the fresh air of the bay and start the day with our Tai Chi Class – physical movements designed for relaxation, balance, and health on the sundeck (beginners welcome). After breakfast, we visit the Vung Vieng by rowing traditional bamboo boats for about a 1 hour. We then come back to our cruise and have a tour around the Captain’s Bridge and Engine room before having a delicious lunch while continue cruising toward Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. Have a guided biking tour or hiking excursions to Cat Ba National Park and visit Au Co Organic Farm. If you’re not keen on walking, there will be an electric cart service (with extra cost) to the farm.
The rest of the afternoon will be adventure time exploring the bay with a paddle and free time for swimming in Viet Hai Lagoon. In the late afternoon, we will be back to the main cruise and enjoy extended Happy Hour for two hours. Savour the BBQ buffet in the restaurant while the cruise anchors in the quiet area for the night.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B)
After breakfast and tea time with Vietnam traditional tea ceremony, we prepare to check out while cruising toward to the mainland. Disembarkation in Tuan Chau Marina Port and return to Hanoi by private car.
Arrival in Hanoi in the mid-afternoon, we will walk down to Pho restaurant for our late lunch. Our guide will take us around the Old Quarters for a local market visit and we continue walking along different streets, try to taste many kinds of local food such as oil-fried pastry, tofu, egg coffee, rice pancake, pillow cake, sweet soup, stuff pancake with pork, draught beer… and one of our best surprised is a stop at Dong Xuan wholesales market where we know many kinds of ingredients being sold. The trip ends at 6 PM with free time to enjoy draught beer in the Old Quarter.

Day 5: Hanoi departure (D)
Free time until our car arrives to take us to the airport in good time for the departure flight. Tour ends.
