Special Notes
- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed in the afternoons, on Mondays and Fridays, and from early October to early December.
- Activities on Halong Bay are subjected to change upon customer’s specific request for the cruise.
- Most museums are closed on Mondays. In case your trip coincides with these days, alternatives will be suggested.
- Please dress modestly for the temple visits. Non-sleeve shirts and short trousers are NOT allowed inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi arrive
Welcome to the first highlight of the North Vietnam.
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to Hanoi center.
Check in hotel and free time. (Early check-in subjects to avalability)
You will be free and easy to explore Hanoi on your own.
Hanoi is a capital of thousand years of civilization with ancient relics, peaceful life. If you have been traveling to Hanoi, you can certainly not forget the typical atmosphere here, with Sword Lake, West Lake, cafes, small streets and street vendors. The people are elegant and civilized. Hanoi is not only famous for its beautiful landscapes and delicious foods, the Hanoi people also have their own distinctive characters, which are charm, elegance and sophistication in every speech and gesture. That is why you should Travel Hanoi at least once in your lifetime.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour
8.00 AM : Guide and car pick up at hotel.
The city tour begins with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh and the nation’s founder and resume visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office, the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and Presidential Palace where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century.
Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.
Having lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to visit the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda built since the sixth century, which located in a small island on the lake on West Lake (one of the oldest in Vietnam) and Quan Thanh Temple one of the four holy temples in Hanoi built since the eleventh century.
Afternoon, continue to a preferable museum in the city. Please select one of the museums such as Museum of Fine Arts / the National Museum of Vietnamese History / the Museum of Military History / the Museum of Ethnology.
Take one hour cyclo tour / electric car through charming Ha Noi’s Old Quarter also known as the “36 streets of Thang Long” and Dong Xuan Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s great place to discover with plenty of photo opportunity all around.
Attending Unique Water Puppet Show, The puppet performs on the water and is controlled by artisans behind the curtain. The stories in the water puppet show clearly the life and culture of the Vietnamese. The water puppet show is highly recommended. One show lasts nearly an hour and start from 15h30 every day.
Transfer back to your hotel around 17h30.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay
8.00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, our impress team will pick you up and we start our 3.5-hour drive to Halong City stopping on the way for some refreshments and local hospitality. (Things To Do In Hanoi)
Upon arrival, welcome on board, check in your cabin and have delicious lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon activities might include a visit to one of the most beautiful caves in Halong bay, a floating village for bamboo boat riding, an island for relaxing/swimming and a lagoon for kayaking. Back to the boat, you will be able to join a cooking class or a sunset cocktail party before dinner time. The evening is free at your leisure or you can join a squid fishing trip with the crew.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Sapa
Morning tea and coffee will be served early. Optional to join a Tai Chi Class on the sundeck or photo hunting in the early morning. (Hanoi Travel Package)
After breakfast, other activities might include (if not arranged on the first day): visiting the cave, cooking class or climbing to the top of an island for a panoramic view of Halong Bay. Then check out and enjoy a fantastic view of the bay, passing many islands and islets (karst formation) on the way back to harbor.
In the evening, your guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station. We’ll get you situated in an air-conditioned, 4-berth cabin with soft sleepers for an over-night train to Lao Cai. You will arrive at Lao Cai at about 6:00 am the next day.

Day 5: Sapa trekking tour
Arrive at Lao Cai Station at 06.00. Picked-up and transferred to Sapa by car (40km mountain road from Lao Cai).
Drive to a restaurant and hotel where you can get cleaned up, refreshed, and get something to eat.
Free on your own till lunch time. After lunch, we’ll take the 4km trek to Cat Cat and Sin Chai Village, the home of Hmong Ethic. Meeting and talking with locals to learn more about their daily life.
You’ll have dinner back in the town of Sapa and have the evening to explore the town on your own.

Day 6: Sapa – Hanoi
You’ll have your breakfast in the hotel and then a guide will be there by 9:00 am to take you on your trekking day. Your trek today is about 15km through hill tribe villages that belong to the Black H’mong, Dzay, and Red Dzao people.
Have a picnic lunch on the way then keep going along the valley to get to Ta Van village to visit the Dzay people live, which supposed to be the most friendly one in the mountainous area. The next is Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dzao tribe where you will see the amazing scenery and beautiful waterfall. In the afternoon, you get back Sapa to go to Lao Cai and catch the
