Quang Binh – Mysterious Depth of Phong Nha and Tien Son Tour – 1 Day

Pick up at our hotel in Phong Nha (pick up at the hotel in Dong Hoi will incur the extra charge), we will take the boat trip along Son River to the mouth of Phong Nha cave (Water cave). Here, our guide will help us with the safety equipment and adventure gears such as life-vest, helmet with head-lamp, glove, and trekking sandal…Our guide will help us to test our skill in kayaking, if you don’t like kayak, we can sit in the rowing boat and enjoy the boat cruise leisurely.

After safety regulations, we start kayaking along the longest underground river and fully immersing yourself deep inside the cave. With your head-lamp, you can see several spectacular stalactites hang from the ceiling of the cave. Stop in Bi Ky Grotto, we will be amazed by the magnitude of the stalactites and stalagmites. We will also see the characters on the walls which were drawn by the ethnic Cham people more than 1000 years ago.

Back to our kayak and paddle for a short ride and get off to see the amazing Tien Son cave (Dry cave), the oldest Karst Mountain in Asia with several amazing stalactites different formations. In the late afternoon, we will take a boat back to the local wharf and then back to the hotel. Trip ends.
