Southern Vietnam Highlight Tour – 8 Days

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne (D)

Welcome upon arrival by local driver upon at Tan Son Nhat international airport in Ho Chi Minh and start the southern Vietnam Highlight tour by transferring to hotel in Mui Ne & check-in. It takes 5 driving hours to get there. Relax after a long flight journey at a resort in Mui Ne. Overnight at resort/hotel in Mui Ne.

Day 2: Mui Ne Exploration (B)

Have breakfast at the resort. Our driver will pick up & transfer to Mui Ne excursion. Drive to the Lotus Lake and White Sand Dunes, stopping to explore the dunes. Then Fairy stream is the good place for you to walk along to see the waterfall. Continue to Mui Ne fishing village and Yellow Sand Dunes, where you can soak in the scenery, enjoy the sunset and take your picture. (sunset seeing for afternoon trips only).

Day 3: Mui Ne – Dalat (B)

Have breakfast at the resort. Free & easy until transfer to Dalat. It takes 4.5 hours to get there. Arrive in Dalat. Check in the hotel and have free dinner by your account. Then ready to discover Dalat night market. Overnight at hotel in Dalat.

Day 4: Dalat Full-day Tour (B, L)

Have breakfast at hotel. Today our local guide will wait for you at the lobby of hotel for the Dalat city tour. Bao Dai Palace, Valley Of Love, Truc Lam Monastery, Golden Valley, Domaine De Marie Church, Railway station, Flower Garden Dalat, Tuyen Lam Lake, Crazy House, Robin Hill (cable car). Night market. Overnight at hotel in Dalat.

Day 5: Dalat – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning our local guide will take you to visit Lang Bian Mountain and Dambri waterfall. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Then depart for Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, we will have a stop to visit Prenn Waterfall. It takes 7 hours to get Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City Sightseeing Tour (B, L)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning our driver & local guide will take you to visit Ho Chi Minh City tour. Reunification Palace, French Colonial structure, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, Binh Tay Market, Ben Thanh market.

Day 7: Mekong Delta Full Day Trip (B, L)

Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to Saigon. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

Free till the reasonable time that you are picked-up & transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight back home. Southern Vietnam Highlight tour ends. See you next time & have a good flight.
